April doesn’t sound so cruel as we move through these cold, windy nights. It’s hard to imagine the layers of coats, sweaters, and scarves coming off. But you can start getting ready for it! No doubt about it – winter really is here! Getting by throwing that transitional fall coat on isn’t doing it anymore. june has beautiful things to keep you warm. Scarves, wool skirts, big cuddly or chic cashmere sweaters, great boots, jackets to layer over an outfit. Or, if you’re getting a reprieve from the cold by visiting somewhere warm [or just want to pretend], june has ‘resort’ items: summer dresses, t-shirts, light, floaty skirts, capris, white jeans; and the shoes! great warm weather shoes – flats and sky-high heels.

This silver North Face ski jacket with faux fur trimmed hood is super glam – and not just for the slopes [orig $200]! The white North Face is classic [orig $200]. The ‘overcast gray’ Calvin Klein vest [orig $100], also with a faux-fur trimmed hood, looks great over a big wooly sweater.

All three are brand new with tags.

Great things have been brought in the past two weeks. Remember, when bringing items in, please make sure they’re clean and on hangers or neatly folded.

The first weeks of opening have been fabulous! And people are looking for more!

As you’re looking forward to 2009, start with your closet. Move out all those fabulous clothes that were never, or barely, worn and are just hanging there. Bring them into june – a buy-outright women’s clothing store. If it fits the store, you’ll receive payment right away.
Dresses, jeans, tops, t-shirts [James Perse, Vince, Michael Stars are great resale tops!], belts, jewelry, shoes, boots. Higher end bags, of all sizes, in great shape are needed also – hobo, clutch, tote.
We’ve had a run of smaller sizes brought in, but many people are asking about larger sizes. Bring it all in!

Bring in a couple items or as many as you have. If you’re running short of time, arrangements can easily be made to drop your things for later pickup.

No need for an appointment.

june accepts items that are:

*authentic, gently worn items from the past two or three years in excellent condition;
*without flaws, holes, stains, rips, snags, excessive wear, pilling, missing buttons, broken zippers, ripped lining, fading;
*freshly laundered, wrinkle-free or dry-cleaned. Please bring items in on hangers, or neatly folded in a box or bag – no garbage bags;
*free of odors, cigarette smoke, fragrance, perspiration and pet hair;
*not altered or mended;
*with brand and size labels intact;
*shoes with little to no wear, and free of scuffmarks. Please consider including shoe and purse dust bags, if you still have them.
*lingerie is accepted if it hasn’t been worn and tags are attached.

June buys all items, regardless of the season.

No appointment necessary.
